Emoji Statistics is a discord bot running with the discord.js framework. It provides tracking of custom emoji, reaction and sticker usage on your server if you invited it.
Here you can invite the bot:
While the bot is tracking most of the activities on your server, including all messages in the channels the bot has permission to see, not all of that data gets stored in the database.
The bots main purpose is collecting statistics about emoji usage. Every time an emoji, a reaction or a a sticker gets used by any user on the server, the bot stores a new entry in the database. This entry contains the following data.
Since the bots main purpose is about tracking and querying statistics, the bot needs to store the data in a database.
Because of all the different commands like /users or /channel, it is also needed to include detailed data about when, where and who used the emoji/reaction/sticker in the database. Without this information it would not be possible to deliver extensive statistics as they are delivered at the moment.
Emoji Statistics stores your tracked emoji/reaction/sticker data for up to 30 days in a database. Every database entry has a separate timestamp.
Once an individual database entry gets created, it will be deleted after 30 days. This means that if you remove the bot from your server (by kicking the bot) all your tracked emoji data will be completely removed from the database within 30 days.
However, if you are using Premium (another version of Emoji Statistics), none of your data gets deleted. Only if you kick the bot or deactivate Premium for the server, tracked emoji data will be removed from the database.
You have multiple options here.
If you are the server owner, you can just remove the bot by kicking it from the server and no user on your server will be tracked anymore.
As an admin of your server, you can also delete all your stats for the whole server manually by using the command /deletestats.
You can also delete statistics about single emojis by using the command /delete e (e represents the actual emoji which has to be written in the command)
If you are a normal user on the server and you do not want to be tracked by the bot, you can use the command /disable.
This will eliminate all data collection about you or your emoji usages in the database. The bot will remember your disabled status as long as you re-enable it by typing /disable again.
Disabling the bots tracking for your user account does work across multiple servers.
